Investigator/Public Information Officer
The 7th Judicial District Attorney’s Office is accepting resumes for the position of Investigator/Public Information Officer.
Applicant must be a P.O.S.T. certified Colorado peace officer with 3 years of demonstrated professional criminal investigations experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a law enforcement officer. Duties include investigating state law violations within the 7th Judicial District, a 6-county area with primary office in the Montrose/Delta area.
Public Information Officer duties include responding to requests for information from the media/public, effectively communicating critical information, writing press releases, and preparing information for distribution to media outlets.
Salary is $66,000-$79,000 (DOQ) plus benefits.
